    Quick SC Tuner question

I wanted to use my tuner for the first time today, but I'm at work and left the manual at home. I figure I can just follow the prompts, but I forgot how to get started.

Is it key off (and door open) or key on before you plug it in?

Engine off. Key turned to 'On'. Plug it in and follow the prompts. And the end, hit 'Program Vehicle' and follow the prompts exactly.

Disable the opition of having assesories operating for a set amount of time when the car is turned off. Or keep the door open with the dome lights off (just a little extra to keep battery drain to a minimum). Then plug in the tuner, under the dash driver's side left. It will tell you when to turn the key.

Then follow the yellow brick road (the prompts). Since it is your first time it will want to save your stock info.

Guess I'll leave the door open, because I dont think I can change the accessories option with out the evic (I'll check the manual though).

    I wish I wasn't this nervous.

You can also just turn the radio and the fan off if you are sitting in the car with the door closed. And wait a few secs for the lights to go out.

    PANIC!!!

I had the rdb1(whatever that error message is) error and my car would not start. I was able to go back to stock and it started without any problems. I called SC and they said a release was expected to be available this Friday and to not do anything until then.

Wow, I hesitated doing it at all, but I thought the no start problem was with the 06 Chargers. SC said some Magnums are affected. I feel for the people who could not get their cars started...my heart dropped when I turned the key and nothing happened.
