Is there a way for somone to tell whether or not they got the right TSB from the dealership? Is there something on the EVIC that would show up?
Thanks

I don't think you can get it off of the EVIC, but you can ask for a print-out from the star scan with your current software versions on it. My tech writes them down for me on my service paperwork whenever they update something and I trust him, but I assume he could print that screen.

if the dealer donwloaded the flash file from dealerconnect on or after december 20th, then i would say it has the latest software. if, however, they flashed your TCM using a pre-existing file on their starscan, then you may not. you'll need a scanner (starscan) to read TCM part number. it will not show up on EVIC.
yet again i am forced to post this link.![]()

I printed a copy of this TSB can I take it and get it done on a 5.7. Or do I just have to tell them I have shift problems
Thanks
there is no TSB for TCM update on your '06 RT. TSB 21-020-06 is for SRT8s only. you can tell them you have shift problems but if they can't duplicate it, they may just tell you NFF. IMO, you're better off just telling them your friend had the same shift concern as you and another dealer updated his TCM and it fixed it. or you could just ask them nicely to update your TCM.

I read that you flashed some of these yourself. If that is the case how did the 5.7 turn out. My heat TCM # is 04692390AF, hardware code 00.06 software version 04.12.17. Don't know what the original is.The label on it says 04692392AG but I don't know what is programmed in it,build date was 10/05
Thanks Al
