I am amazed at how much great info and knowledge this forum supplies. On the subject of AWD Mags, I have a related question. It took me about four weeks to do an internet search to find the '05 Magnum RT AWD that I am scheduled to pick up Friday in another state. I did a Carfax check on the VIN but I was wondering if there is any info anywhere on the forum that would link a VIN to info about the car's repair history. It would even be helpful if some folks on the forum disclosed this info if they abandoned their problem cars to a trade in because they could not get issues addressed. My Carfax report indicated that one of the vehicles I checked out had the rotors resurfaced with just 25 miles on the car.
I figured with the Carfax info and a thorough test drive, if the car is still under warranty or is a Dodge Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, I should be pretty safe buying pre-owned. ANy advice or info on this?
