    power inverters/converters

looking to pick one up so i run my UDM Polisher on the road..

anything i should be concerned about as far as it being safe to use over long periods of time (several hours at a time)

plug it into one of the 3 power outlets in the mag, any of the 3 prefered?

then plug the ultimate detailing machine into the inverter..

im sure the car will have to be running also, so i dont kill the battery..

    thanks..

    Thank You Haz

Just check the power consumption of anything you might want to use and make sure you get an inverter with enough capacity to power it. You can get up to 3000 watts in an inverter from like a Pep Boys.

oh man I have a generator just like that Harbor Freight unit and it is freaking LOUD! db in the 90's.

I'd vote for the other one thats rated at 69db. Thats nice and quiet.

I also have inverters and when it comes to the supplied power outlets, don't forget they are fused and not rated for a lot. You are looking at having your inverter direct-connected to the battery I think.

I don't think you will find one for what you want to run that does not need direct hook-up to battery, which is not a big deal.
