Please help me find auto sensor light connection.

All of my lights turn off at night when Im driving. This may be like the 4th post I made about this but the problems has gotten worse in the last 2 weeks. Now they turn off every night at least once.

Now this is what happens and I am sure its just a loose connection because it only happens when my subs are pumping which is 75% of the time Im driving.

Driving down the road at night light are on automatilcy via light sensor. Then all of a sudden the red security light comes on the car chimes and the lights shut down. I have to quickly switch to manual lights and they are on again. but the auto lights will not come on again until the car is restarted. Like I said it only happens when there is heavy bass or maybe if I hit a bump.

So where should I be looking for loose connections at exactly? What fuses should I be looking for? What does it mean since the red light comes on?
No CELs are thrown. Please help me figure this out.

THE DEALER HAS ALL READY REPLACED MY LIGHT SWITCH WITH THE 2008 PUSH BUTTON STYLE ALSO. NO HELP.

That's a weird one... I wonder if the sensor in the dash has a loose connection on/in it? But you said the security light comes on too??? Where did you snag power for your system from, right at the battery? Do you have a tap in the dash for remote turn on or lights or anything?

All that I have installed so far is a new radio and alarm system and amps. All lighting is factory and there are not any mods besides the led tails.

My audio system is a 2 battery system charged threw a PAC 200Amp relay factory batt and a yellow top then a cap. Both batteries are tied in to the same ground location.
What about any fuses is there on for this?

the headlamp switch is hard wired to the CCN (cabin compartment node/instrument cluster). the CCN monitors headlamp switch position through mux circuits. the CCN then busses this info to the FCM (front control module) which controls headlamp operation through HSDs (high side drivers).

the ambient light sensor (located near center of instrument panel top cover) is hardwired to the ATC (auto temp control) HVAC module. this module then busses the light level info to the FCM. auto headlamps will illuminate whenever ambient light level, provided by the HVAC module, indicates lighting is required and the engine is running.

since the red dot (security light) comes on, and turning on the headlamps manually with the switch restores headlamp operation, i would suspect a bus failure which would interrupt the ambient light level message. perhaps a loss of communication with the HVAC module. a scan should reveal any loss of communication DTCs that may have been logged. if my suspicions are correct, i'd be checking HVAC module connections.

if the cause cannot be found, ask your dealer to install a data recorder to monitor all headlamp related functions including CCN, HVAC, FCM & WCM parameters.

also, just because i'm curious, try jiggling the keys in the ignition switch to see if that triggers it.

    good luck

i'm going to agree that this might be the issue. when Pac-Audio used my car for beta testing some of there stuff, they did not reconnect my HVAC controls (A/C Controls) correctly, that is to say they did not plug the connector all the way in, and when I would hit a hit bump in the road my lights would turn on (like they do when you disconnect the HVAC)...
