    Plastic Rivet Gun

Does anyone know where to buy the rivet gun for the plastic fasteners that attach the LX 1/4 and fender liners, and diffusers? I've tried my local dealer and the Snap-On guy ... no luck.

Cant you just use the snap rivets or the push ones instead? I would think that would be a cheaper way to go in the end

EDIT: Heres what my dealer lets me use from Matco (ive changed to snaps though)

Yup, what Richie here said. Get the same one that hold the upper portion of the fascia on. You'll be glad you did.

The rivets just seem to be stronger and tighter.

    Thanks for the info.

The Fastener Warehouse.com has a ton. Pretty much anything in a 1/4" or 3/8" hole size will work in there, and they're much cheaper than the dealer cost. Unless you're dead-set on the rivets, there are a lot of options out there.

I'm trying to improve the fit of a Charger chin on my Magnum. Not happy with the gap in the corners (allbeit a very small one). I figured the rivets would pull both the bumper cover and the chin tighter. I used the push fasteners for the rest .

That site is the bomb. I've been buying that stuff for years, but not that cheap.
    Thanks for passing it on.

Well if you really want to get intense about it. Buy yourself a nutsert kit.

I have a couple different styles. They come in real handy.

Here is a plastic rivet tool for $13. I did try a metal rivet tool without success.

Yep, I have one like this and use it once in a while. It does pull things tighter. I still use the center push ones that I buy in bulk (at Space Age Paint in Mesa - for the Phoenix crowd).

I used my metal rivet tool when I took the rear fascia off. Just had to take the bit out that changes sizes for different rivets. Worked just fine for me.

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?
