Photos Needed - Rear Bumper Cover Off

Just spent 1/2 hour looking at the archives with no luck.

Thinking of installing (true) RADAR based backup system under the bumper cover and need to know if there is enough room and a proper mounting surface.

Any photos of the undressed rear bumper area would be appreciated.

If anyone else is interested here is a link to what CR tested as the #3 system, but the only one which is unaffected by (our lousy) winter weather. I've already got mine in transit.

Yup, not only a good price but the three sensor vs. the two you noted.

BTW, thanks for the photos! Do you recall if there is about 3/4 inch ALL THE WAY ACROSS (for the height of the sensors) above or below the steel bumper and where the fascia covers it? See arrows on your marked up photo:

That covre thing sits on it, and I think it snugs into the fascia.

It looks like, worst case, I could carve out the plastic waffle-like piece on the bumper and set them in it. Best case, after looking at another photo I have, looks like there is some space above the steel bumper/plastic waffle to mount them...where the OEM sensors' rear portion resides.

    Thanks!
