Petition to Save Wyckoff Chrysler Dealership

Ok, here's the plan. I don't know how far we can take this but I would like to tell everyone there is a three pronged approach to this.

I. Save Wyckoff, a Chrysler Dealership in North Jersey Ranked 29th in the Nation as a Parts Supplier, they need the jobs, we need the parts.


II. Fill out this petition completely, I will take it and bring it to the dealership and send it FEDEX to Auburn Hills, MI

III. Just follow my lead, post why we want to save Wyckoff, your name, your experiences with them and your general feedback or comments on the entire situation with Chrysler

My Experience has been nothing but positive with Richard Engel, Matt Struble and the entire parts department, and service department. Chrysler certainly made a mistake buy pulling the trigger prematurely with a dealership of this caliber.

I hereby recommend that Chrysler immediately put a plan together to re-assess their actions and re-instate Wyckoff, a dealership with integrity and a parts distributor ranked 29th nationally!

Well I called them about the dealer impact. They took my vin and updated my address and said they have no info on why it was closed but she did seem to be transcribing what I told her. I don't know how many here saw it but the folks from Wyckoff were on the News Hour on PBS the other day, about three minutes into a report on the closings.

While we're at it can we try to get Fox to reconsider Sarah Connor Chronicles? Chrysler was a major sponsor of that show and it was just officially canned...

sorry you lost your favorite dealer but i don't think you can change it. the factory has wanted to close stores that don't sell the whole package (chrysler, jeep, dodge, and dodge thuck) for about 15 years now. they are just using the economy as a reason to do it.

I've read so many articles like this and I really feel bad as some good folks who are losing their jobs and good dealerships will go under. However, Chrysler is in Bankruptcy. Bankruptcy. Its a month away from more losses and its defunct. The government is the only thing keeping it alive. Meaning, no sales money, no jobs, no company. Its that plain and simple. They are in desperate times and even the government/Fiat bail out doesnt guarantee that will work. Its ugly out there and its gonna get worse. I personally don't see how this is going to work for them.

I love my Mopars but I think its over from a business and financial perspective let alone a brand image. How the hell are the going to retrofit plants and pull out a high selling econo-green car in the next 2 years. They need that yesterday. Even government and Fiat money cant instantly fix it.

I order ALOT of stuff for my car through them online... they were good but I think its beating a dead horse... they are gone like the 17 here in WV.
