So my new employee drives an 04 audi a6 2.7 twin turbo and he wants to race me. He is stock. His car runs 0-60 in 6 seconds and a 1/4 mile in high 13 low 14. Look at my mods am I missing something cause I think it wouldn't be worth the gas to race him (on a track of course) do these things have an after burner or something?

I seriously doubt that, even with his AWD, those things are pretty slow off the line. AWD's bog too much, especially ones with turbo's.

That's exactly what I told him but all he says is I have twin turbo! Ok I don't but my engine is putting down more power and tq with a better 0-60 than ur car stock let alone with the minor mods I have. So I'm not the fastest maggie but I'm not the slowest either and I know about the driver variable but damn it don't add up and he won't see it either, he just says turbo, turbo, turbo.

Un-mod'd the 2.7t A6 is dog-slow. It's a high 14second at best with the auto tranny.
Mod'd- totally different story. I've seen dozens of K04 swapped 2.7t S4/A6's/Allroads putting down 450+whp.

For reference, I drove the 4.2 B6 S4 before my Maggie. My S4 would rape stock 2.7t B5S4's. The C5 A6 is a good 400+lbs heavier with the same engine.
My stock Maggie walks my buddy's fully mod'd B6 S4 once into 2nd gear. AWD gets the jump but it's all over after that.

Sorry, can you tell I still frequent Audiworld everyday?
Non-Audi jargon speak: I had the '05 S4 with the 4.2l V8 engine rated at 340hp (270/265 dyno'd whp/wtq).
B5 S4's were the previous version S4's made from '99 til 2001. They all had the 2.7t rated at 250/250. The last A6 to come with the 2.7t was an '03 model I believe. 95% were auto's but the most desirables had sport seats and 6-spds. I almost bought one actually.
