passenger power seat

for some reason only one side of my seat will move forward and backwards. The side that isn't moving doesn't appear to have any garbage in the tracks. The motor tries to spin the spindle but it only moves slightly. I am wondering if it popped out of the gear or something on the motor side. anyone else have any ideas.

sounds like the gear is binding in the track. might have to disassemble to inspect. usually caused by debris in the track. might not see it until you disassemble.
