    paint vs. rims...what to do?!?

i've been dying to get some 22's for the car for the longest time now, but i've been wanting to paint white just as badly. ignoring cost for the moment, what the hell should i do? regardless of which one i do first, i'm not going to be able to do the other one for a while after that....the wife would kill me! i'm thinking if i have stock rims and suspension on a newly painted car i'm going to go crazy wanting to put rims and coilovers on it LOL on the flip side if i did rims i'd be dying to get the coilovers right away and i'd want to paint as soon as i could too....i think the problem is no matter which one i choose and no matter how happy i am with it, i'm going to want to do the other even more lol

what to do and where to start?

MODS: 22" chrome boss 313's on 265/35/22's, 20% tints, niteshaded tails, colour-matched side markers, RGB headlight and fog light halos, flat black headlight and fog light housings, terminator projector glow, LED interior lighting, LED license plate lighting, BBK CAI, JVC KW-NT1 headunit, suitcase removed, much more to come....

Well not that this helps you but I say do whatever cost the most first! Its easier to justify spending smaller amounts of money than lager ones in my experience lol.

    Good luck with your quest!

Why don't u trade the car in and get a white one. Then put 22's and coils? Best of both worlds! or get a srt8 and paint that white, so u will be one of the very few to have a white srt8!

Wheels, then lowering, then paint if you really want to. Why would you want to turn your pretty silver car white though? :D

If you do coils first, you're going to look at your wheels and think "man those are small, man I wish i had wider tires". If you do wheels first, yeah, you'll still want lowered, but you won't think "it needs it worse now"

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?

thanks guys...still not 100% on what i want to do, but i'm leaning towards leaving the painting for last now since i've started considering some body mods. wheels are probably going to happen first, but i wanna wait for the right set...i'm thinking black chrome...which is a pain in the a$$ to find...but will look amazing with the bright white paint when it finally gets done.

Option C: Save money (really save, like in a can or something) and do it all at once! win-win

best option so far i think. i'm pretty sure that's my new game plan. paint, rims and coilovers in one swift move. if i do deviate from that it'll at least be rims and coilovers together. i'm thinking all the money that comes in from cash jobs doing halos or whatever else is going aside for the super mod fund lol...that way it doesn't hurt as bad since it'll be coming from 'extra' money (as if there is such a thing LOL)

I am in the same boat as you. I went with wheels and tires because if I painted the body and added a lip or kit, it will look funny with stock rims IMO.
Wheels and Tires first then let everything else fall into place.
Im a practical joker, so dont take anything seriously. GOT IT. GOOD.
