Old trick for seeing traffic lights

The 300 / Magnum design makes it difficult for taller drivers to see traffic lights, but here is an old trick. It was an accessory for the '55 to '57 Chevy's. I just saw one a few days ago, and Danchuk makes new ones. It is a little fan-shaped multi-level prism mounted on a chrome stem.

Yea, my dad showed me one of those on the dashboard of a '55 with a huge sun visor on the outside of the windshield. I guess those sun visors made it darn near impossible to see a light. If you put your glasses on the dashboard (yea, I'm getting old and farsighted) you get the same effect.

wow...whos gonna be the first person to intentionally look like an 85 year old driving their car? no matter how functional it is, that is just asking to make the car look like an old person driving it.

I'm confused as to how it workd, can you see a reflection in the prism, or does the prism glow? Im guessing the latter is true.

Now, Now, lets be nice. The basic idea has merit. Just need a way to do it cleanly.

I installed one of those on my Riding Mower... HAHA

Given the "retro chop top" hot rod look of that magnum/300, i think this little accesory is a nice touch IMO
