Thumbs up Need someone to doublecheck me.

So, I'm getting ready to do the first major wash/wax/detail of the season on The Beast, and it's the first time I've ever did it myself. So, could someone just doublecheck my list of supplies, and either suggest what I'm missing, or why I shouldn't use what I'm using.

You will need a spray bottle with a soapy water solution in it for the clay bar. Makes it slide really easy.

Yeah, that's on my list of stuff to buy. Unless I can find one at autozone this weekend, it'll have to wait, sunday is going to be perfect wash/wax day, and don't want to wait until I get that.

Colorado: Naw, steel bucket of ice and sangria for me. :>

Sugar: Yeah, it's a bit excessive, but it's the first major wash/wax of the season, so I'm going to be going a wee bit overboard. I was going to go with zaino's, but decided to hold off a bit on that.

applicator pads? the little spongy jobber with the cotton bonnet covering it. Im not a fan of the foam discs that usually come with crappy wax. I dont use meguire products so Im not sure what they recommend. One trick I love the Zaino folks recommend is to remove the wax with a full size 100% cotton (made in USA only) bath towel. they go so far to list specific brands. the microfibers are good for glass and final wipe downs but that big bath towel works sweet for pulling off the wax after it sets

    Can't beat the Zaino line.

This will eat up your whole day, but what fun it is, and with the ZFX you don't have to wait before applying the next coat of polish.

    For perfect results:

    EXTERIOR:
Clean windows with Z12 glass polish (do this first as it makes a bit of a mess)
    Wash with dish soap
Z18 Clay Bar, using a mixture of Z7 wash and water as lube
    Wash with Z7
    Dry car completely
Z5 polish with ZFX and wipe off with Cambridge 100% cotton towel
Z6 Detail Spray wipe with microfiber towel
Z2 polish with ZFX and wipe off with Cambridge 100% cotton towel
Z6 Detail Spray wipe with microfiber towel
Z2 polish with ZFX and wipe off with Cambridge 100% cotton towel
Z6 Detail Spray wipe with microfiber towel
Z8 Grand Finale Spray wipe with microfiber towel
I use Armorall Tire foam spray for the plastic on the inside of the fenderwells, comes out clean and no wiping.
apply Z16 perfect tire gloss on the tires (don't like the shiny stuff)

    Move to the inside,
    Vacuum all carpeted areas.
For the glass I use a product calles Invisible Glass, no streaking and does an excellent job, it's even reccomended for tinted windows
For the dash, door panels, center console, seats, and all of the hard plastic use unscented, alcohol free baby wipes. These things are really the sh*t for cleaning the interior, everything is spotless, and no residue left behind.
Z10 leather in a bottle on the seats and 22 elite console cover if you've got one, non sticky or greasy

    admire your "clean" ride
FRI Econo Heads & FRI Sidewinder: Installed @ BFNY by Hemi31 with special guest Fnkychkn, JBA Shorties, JBA/HHP hi-flow catted mids, stock SRT8 cat-back, C&L CAI.
HUGE thanks to Hemiwagn and HalfFast Performance for making it all possible.
