I took my Silver SRT-8 to the dealer today to get several things checked. They applied the WOT trani shift hesitation TSB. I picked the car up this eveing, got a half a tank of gas and jumped onto the 1 mile long freeway on-ramp and went to a dead stop and then floored it. Well guess what! 1st shifts into 2nd at 5500 RPM's and 2nd shift into 3rd at 6000 RPM's now!!!! SUCKKKKKKSKSKSKSKSKSKSDK!KQ#@$@!#:OIP#@$OIU%I#P(IU T!#%PJI........................................... .................................................. ........ .................................................. .
ok... now that I am done beating the crap out of my keyboard, can anyone verify whether a programed TSB computer update can be reversed?
Thing is that I tried 3 time on that onramp to get it to do anything different and it went the same route every time. I get off the freeway and head home but manage to try one more time on about a 1/4 mile stretch. This time it hesitates at 5500 RPM's, then goes to 6200 RPM's (exactly what it normally shifts at; sometimes even higher) and shifts into 2nd. But the hesitation is enough to make me think this is not a good TSB at all.
Please help me... I feel like I went in to get my apendix out and they removed it and put a urine bladder in its place.
