    Need information help pertaining to aftermarket CAI

    My wife got a CAI from a friend of ours and it's missing the gromet where the electrical connect plugs in... can't seem to find one the right size. I forced a small hose into it and plugged connector into it. Will this cause any problems until I find the correct size grommet!

    A picture of how it's hooked up right now! Sorry picture is a little blurry but you can see the hose plugged into it... my concern is the electrical connector doesn't go into the intake tube far enough!

    click the link in the bottom of my sig .. there's a loc/part# for a grommet that fits.

    Just take the grommet out of your stock tube.. That's what I did..
