Thanks for the compliments! They got the job done in 2 1/2 weeks so turn around was good. I know when I work in the interior my back is shot in an hour so I have to stop for two days.

    Thank's Buddy!

I have one harness snafu to fix, The sub belt anchor is located behind the front seat where it is close to the 3 other attachment points. I'm guessing so track officals can quickly see all the attachments at a glance...The lap belt anchors are on the bottom of the hoop and the bottom of the hoop bar to tunnel.

The sub belt on the new harness is no where long enough to reach back there. (I don't think it will be close with the race seat either) The sub belt is permanently affixed to the cam lock so I cant just get a longer belt,

I guess I could make a mild steel strip 12" long as an extension to bolt to the anchor that will reach the belt but I don't know if it would pass insp.
    Anyone have any idea's?

Just take it back and have them weld a tab under the seat. Take them 10 minutes and no rigging needed.

By the way, you have an 8 pt rollbar Easy conversion to 10 pt down the road but dang, I cant believe you were okay with the extra 3 points above what is needed to run down to 10.00.

I like the addition of a better placed mount, although you could maybe use a couple of "D" brackets and another piece of web material,

    or add one of these.

I didn't know I was getting an 8 point, I asked for a 6 pt. with 2 removable swing out's so I could run 5 pt... But after they did the 6 pt. They felt the LX floors were not up to the task in the event of a bad roll so they added the other 2 points on the house, On top of an awesome price already so this is one of those times I'll just be thankful they look out for the clients best interests. I guess my MSHS superstock competitors can be thankful too!

Started to get the car ready for some racing this Saturday at E-town, It's a ford vs. chevy vs. Mopar modern muscle race! Some weight removal please...Ahh, That's more like it!

I went with Jon's suggestion to use a 12" seat belt extension to make the safty harness work for now since I didn't have a chance to go back out to Profab and get the sub belt mount moved,

    Here's all the harness attachments,

The lawn chair (race seat) works well with the new belt'

Still have my regular seat belt for non-track use,

I may return this harness for one without the anchor points on it and use quick release attachments since this would be a real PITA to take on and off,

You guy's were both pretty accurate! I fiqure the bar and harness came in about 75lbs. I was a little under 1/8 tank of gas.

(the scale was jumping between 4,044 and 4,048 when I took the pic)
