My first year LX experience: Photo Essay

Well guys, 1 year ago today I bought my Magnum!!!

I found my way onto CustomMagnums and then on LXforums almost 2 weeks after I bought the car. Now I average 9.5 posts a day with over 3200 posts total and I'm a vendor for AEcarbon and making cool new stuff for the LXplatform. Hows that for progress!? To celebrate I put together a little progression of mods over the first year.

Trip #1 Tortilla Flats...Owned car for 2 weeks
1 mod only - Blastin Bobs duals

    Oh...and the dog mod:

    2 months later:
Mods - Eyelids, rocker panel stripes, turn signal mod, air silencer removed.

FIRST LX EVENT! Rumble in the Desert II
Mods- Powder Coat RT wheels, 255 55 18 Nitto 420s

    Cali Trip:
    No new mods

    Matching Magnum RC car!

Ghetto Photoshoot with Junior & BritishNate
    Mods- Foglight cutouts

    AZLX @ SpringFest:

    Then I met Damian...
    and the painting proceeded...
Mods- Airbrushed Airhammer HO, Diablo Predator

    Trip to Williams Route 66

The AZLX Tortilla FLats Cruise PANO SHOT:

Then I met Justin @ AAC and got a crap load of lights:

    More Airbrushing

Then I met George and now we're building some really cool stuff:

    Total Mod List:
Debadged, Demoulded, Tinted tails, tinted headlights (waiting to be finished), powder coat RT wheels, 402 painted eyelids, strut covers, braided engine hoses, airbrushed engine accents, molded and smoothed airbrushed interior, Diablo tuner, Airhammer HO, Blastin Bobs with Dynomax replacement muffler, turn signal mod, color matched belt trim, rocker panel stripes, bumper scuff guard, various airflow mods, AAC 6000k interior LEDs, AAC 35w 6000k HIDs/50w XE high beams, etc.

Okay thats the end of the photo essay... I've enjoyed my stay here. Thank you all for being good friends.

Well many of my upcoming mods are a secret but I have yet to post pics of my recent mods.

We resurfaced my heads and tails and tinted them

Thanks guys, I will shoot pics of my new mods soon. We tinted the heads and tails.

Sanded down my headlights to get the pitting and oxidation off, mixed some black airbrush base with the clear coat and sprayed 7 layers followed by 3 layers of just clear coat. VERY GLOSSY
