    Exclamation Mobile 1 Stopped Production

    Yep I went to Advance and they had a special on the oil and filter combo and when I asked, they said what they had was all that they were going to get. They said it's no longer in production.
    Tinted glass, Cut front springs 1 1/4",
    AirHammer HO, Duel Flowmaster 40s, De-molded,
    Sonar LED Tails, Flat black honeycomb grille,
    18" RT wheels & 245/45, No ESP Mod, Predator,
    Innovate WB A/F guage, Ported Lower Intake.

    I hope this is BS. All that touches the insides of my motor is Mobil1, and I intend to keep it that way. None of this Royal Purple garbage, blah....

    That is probably close to the truth. The guy at Advance thought it was due to a commercial another brand made saying they met or exceeded Mobile 1 specs.

    Synthetic is still made from an oil base. The long chain molecules or some such are tweaked or something to that effect.

    Might not even be the base.

    Could be that the supplier of one of their additives had a factory that was damaged.
