Merry belated Christmas to all

Well there wasn't much to celebrate around my humble domain on Christmas day. My wife went to NJ to have a ball with all our relatives on both sides of the family and all the nieces and nephews. I, of course, simply worked harder, being an IT type guy, which meant this was one of our few golden opportunities to work 10 times as hard doing all the work the business units blocked for months because they just "couldn't possibly take an outage" to fix anything. Fortunately my review every year dovetails nicely with every one of these clowns lavishing praise on us for fixing all the crap they bitched about since July 4th weekend like we were just ignoring them until the magic wand recharged.

Oh, well. I am having my very merry Christmas this morning since my wife is home safe from her travels and has given me, a DubCity remote control Magnum (in red, gotta paint it myself, tat will be a nmeat little project) AND the big ol' 1/6th scale Magnum which she has made arrangements with my buddy Steve who owns the body shop I do business cards and T-shirts for to paint Magnesium Pearl for me, oh yeah, there will be pix ( it may be a week or so).

Plus, I have the green light for the KDW-2 (KDW NT)/Hotchkis sway bars/Mopar coil-over mod!!!! My old lady really does "get it" after all. C'mon Mopar we need a part number on them coil-overs!!! The tires are the first to go. Got a road trip planned from Ft. Worth TX to Ocala and then on to Boca Raton Fla in March. Definitely want all of this done by then. By the time I get back we''lll have a REAL programmer and all will be right with the world.

Sorry for all this gushing but it was not a pleasant week for me, but it's getting better. I promise, as soon as it's done, I'll post pix of my 1/6th RT painted Mag Pearl. Seadoo Sandi, you listening? I'll steer ya to my guy if ya like the results.

Heya Cad, First off I'm glad your wife is home safe and sound from her trip to Good'ole New Jersey. Cant wait to see the pics of the new toys. I got a DUB city diecast from my wife. It was her idea of giving me the only thing I asked for this year. All I wanted was a Red SRT-8. I dont think that was asking for much. Anyway enjoy the rest of the Holidays and have a safe and healthy New Year.

Mery Christmas Aikidoka and I ain't gettin an SRT 8 either. Sandi, I'll stay in touch, I told Leslie to get the paint right from the dealer and have Steve use the real deal to paint it. Heck, it can't be that expensive and if I have paint left over I'll let you know. Maybe we can get it done cheaper if there's extra paint.

Aikidoka, hey I still miss Jersey, just not in the winter. Thanks for the good wishes and may you and your family have a great new year. iRock, what the heck is that???!!! A mistletoe moustache? Have a happy new year yerself, but I'm not sure what you wanna kiss? Sandi I'll let ya know about the painting, I hope DCX isn't too stingy with the Mag Pearl paint.
