    Thumbs up Magnum Roof-rack Usage.

OK, Mine came with the rack off the lot and i'm too cheap to have it removed, bolts cut, filled and painted. So I was wondering what else could we use these things for besides secret service types hanging on to during a parade..

Maybe, old school dual CB antenna's. lol.

    Whats your thoughts?

Remove the rack anyway and put plug in it with plugs who will see the roof anyway?

Or did you want to use it?

I plan to use mine for a canoe.

It should also be useful for runs to the home center.

The roof rack is mounted with bolts from the underside(interior) and held on with nuts. Not just a simple pluging of holes. What I did was use a dremel with a cutoff wheel to take the bolts flush. Then I got vinyl circles to cover them up. Didnt look too bad, but since I go to show, I had to finish it off.

What I found when I took the rack off was rust starting at the base where the bolts came through the roof. I would recommend to everyone is to take a peek, you might be surprised.
