Magnum to Charger

Has anyone traded their Magnum for a Charger or 300C?
I found a nice 06 Charger Daytona that I'm willing to trade my Magnum for. Only thing I'm worried about is the amount of cargo space. Charger guys, how is it in terms of loading the car up full of stuff. I don't do a lot of hauling, but sometimes its nice to have the room.

I think the amount of trunk room in the Charger is great. Sure, its just not as tall as the Magnum, but the trunk is quite big---its still a big car.

Talk to hops23, or hopefully he will chime in. He's a converted Magnum to Charger owner who can provide some better insight, having owned each car.

Have you looked in the trunk of the Daytona??? Jimmy Hoffa could be in there and still have room for 3-4 more! Seriously, I came to the Charger from a Suburban, so I was used to a lot of cargo room. The only thing I can't do with the Charger, that I wish I could is haul ladders. Rear seats fold down too, for more space if needed.

What color is the Daytona?

If you need to haul longer stuff, you could always get a removable roof rack. I have one that I bought from the dealer. Not sure if the charger uses the same one. I'm sure it does. Generally roof racks are rated at 150 lbs capacity.

This should be the one. I ordered mine from the dealer. I think it was cheaper.

Might even be willing to sell mine. I put it on my roof once, but ended up not even using it cause the stuff I thought I would need it for....when I got to Walmarts, it all fit in the back anyways! Doh. So it's just been sitting around taking up space.

Thanks, yeah the trunk is a lot bigger than I expected. A lot bigger than my old Taurus SHO. I did get the Daytona, Top Banana #1707.
Kinda feels like a step down from the Magnum though. No NAV, Boston Sound, Bluetooth, Dimming Mirror, and so on...
