Well, it took a while but I installed Magnum Carputer 2.0. Much faster than 1.0 and is performing well. The front end is CENTRAFUSE 1.47

    - MP3 Playback (600+ songs right now)
    - Sirius Satellite Radio (Live stream and buffered).
    - EMAIL, WiFi, Internet, Weather (Bell WiMAX high speed Service)
    - DVD Playback
    - OBD-II Diagnostics via Centrafuse and PCMSCAN working
    - MIXER with EQ
    - CFiG iGuidance Navigation integration with Centrafuse (Bluetooth GPS receiver)

    Not working yet:
    - Bluetooth Phone and handsfree integration
    - iPod (added in CF 2.0)
    - HD Radio (Don't own HD radio yet)

I run my own computer repair business as a second job, and this is a mod I've been wanting to do for a while. Almost did too, but missed out on an opportunity to buy some parts from a fellow forum member here about a year ago.

I was planning to go a bit more custom on mine, buying a dual-DIN case, laptop HDD, slim-line DVD-ROM, a wireless network card, Bluetooth adapter, etc, and cobble it all together. My Verizon phone functions as a USB wireless broadband modem (with unlimited data) so I was just going to connect my phone via a front USB port for internet access as well as music and data syncing.

Alas, I don't have the funds for this mod yet. Your setup looks very slick and well done. My biggest concern is getting all the CANBUS software and the like set up as I don't really know how all that works yet.

I too have been wanting to do this mod for years and have been looking for a case/screen like the one you have here and put my own guts into it. However until now, I've only been able to find just a single DIN motorized monitor or a double DIN commplete unit for about $2500 and it was not configured the way I wanted and I still had to add some parts.

Thanks for posting this up!! Beans to you for that.
