The PBS show CarTalk with Click and Clack had a public opinion poll and the 300 was the 8th ugliest and the Magnum 7th!

Are we all blind? I think Im going to sell my Magnum. NOT!

Pretty funny stuff, calling the Magnum "The Wesh Corgi of the car world" Fine with me, Welsh Corgies are very cool also. Welsh Corgie with really big uevos I will add.
I'm glad they think the Magnum is ugly, I'd sure like to see what these critics drive!!

Maybe I am partial to ugly cars... I have always loved station wagons.
I have always wanted one of those 1957 Nomads, those are sweet!
I mean, I have a DeLorean, which some people think is ugly, but all agree
that it is exotic and unusual.

However, I don't see what is so ugly about the Magnum or the 300C.
They are both awesome looking cars, with massive engines that
get pretty darn good fuel economy and big and roomy inside too!
So many of these designers make the cars look like bar of soap
with absolutely no sex or style at all.
Now they are trying to go the other way and make these weird square cars
like that Scion thingy... now that thing looks like an old milk wagon!

Well, these other guys don't need to worry about how "ugly" my Magnum is
because they will only have to look at it for a brief second as it passes them
and quickly dissapears into the distance.....

All just remember. Those who are jealous usually pick on others. The Mag and 300 are sweet looking cars and the Nomad is a bad ass looking ride.

Just terrible when one of the best selling and best reviewed cars is declared "ugly" by a self selected few in an Internet poll.

Or maybe they just don't like the view of the car from behind and that's likely the only vie wthey get! :D

Click & Clack's survey made no pretense at being scientific. They have published no numbers, so you have no way of knowing how many responded. Also, the "suspect" list was hardly well chosen. They asked a their readers to nominate models. We have know idea how many models were nominated. Could have been just the first 10 callers, who knows.

Bottom line, Click & Clack are in the entertainment business, reliable knowledge or information is only a coincidence. Ignore them.

I think Iknow why the 300 and magnum made the list. These guys are all in favor of legislation that would either prohibit "excess HP" or make it cost prohibitive (to the average driver). These guys are also against all aftermarket modifications. Something with a hemi is against all they believe in.
They may be "Car Talk," but they're not really "car guys."
Only NPR ( and our tax dollars) would support a car show by anti car guys! They wouldn't make it in the real world.
