    LXmas presents

What a grand year at the hester pad. We have always gone back to TX for the holidaze. We opted to stay home with just the fam this year. It's awesome. Still in out jammies. Been that way since yesterday.
The kiddoes scored big as always and I spoiled my bride as best I could. She digs lotions and potions, the boys love Star Wars anything galore and Tera is way into American Girl stuff. Accordingly, victorias secret bags, Star Wars empty packages and neat little hand-made bags line the floor.
I represented the LX community in style, getting a 1:6 Magnum RC, a stainless steel radiator cover and Hotchkis lowering springs. Sweeeeeeet.
Got some new CDs too... some Dave Mathews Band, System of a Down and Alison Krauss with Union Station. My, how she has the voice of an angel.
More than anything, I got to get up before dawn and watch my family's faces without interuption of extended family. I got to roll video like babies first Christmas again. I got to savor every last moment as wrappers flew and the volume slowly grew in the room. I got to surprise my wife with an item or two although she was convenced she had picked out every box out herself. I got to enjoy that "man, life sure does rock" feeling that is suppose to be with us everyday but somehow gets cast aside in the hustle of the day.
Merry Christmas, everybody. I hope your holidays are as blessed as mine.

Actually I am still in jammies too but it isn't because I want to be. I had two family get togethers that were planned for this weekend but my family came down with the flu starting with my 8 month old on Thursday, my wife on Friday, and yup you guessed it me yesterday. I haven't had the flu in years and forgot just how much fun it was. Lets just say it was 6 hours of hell and I am happy it is over. So lastnight I couldn't go to the family thing and today the other family thing was cancelled since my wifes mother, grandmother, nephiew, and a few other family members got smacked with the flu last night also. So lets just say this hasn't been the best chirstmas I had. Hopefully everyone elses is going well.

my wife ordered me the red remote controlled unit that comes in that Dodge mag with items in it. She saw when it arrived when I was out of town. Our concensus, it looks cheesy, more very youngish. She paid $40 for it.
Anybody else have this? Worth keeping? Thougt I had saw others elesewhere but not sure if they were located.

Don't you just love Christmas with the family? Hubby was very good to me this year. I got Silverstar bulbs for the headlights and he ordered me the aluminum center bezel for the dash. Here's to a great husband!

Awesome grin...nothin' like the look on the faces of loved ones.

I bought my wife a present that's as much for her as it is for me:

A Keurig one cup coffee maker. (dang, these things ain't cheap!)

It takes the same coffee pods as the ones at my wife's office....'nuff said.

I also got her some silver jewelry she wanted and a few books she had asked for.

She got me more motorcycle stuff, the two LOST novels (I'm a geek) , some DVDs and clothes. (and an amazon.com gift cert.)

    Nice Christmas.

Nice grinner, that's what it's all about. We did more spending time with family than buying each other gifts. We each got a couple of things and then stuff from our families. Mostly though the highlight was visiting. Usually I get all geeky stuff and perfume or jewelry. This year it was one item for the car and one geek gift. I have a birthday coming in February so I've got my eye on more mods.

The oldest one busted me on the tooth fairy not long ago. Led right into the santa talk and this year, all 3 of em just kinda went with the Santa thang. It was a blast though. We had a little celebration Saturday night then tore right into it a 6am Christmas morning. I took today off. I had EasyBake Oven goodies to help make, Lazertag setups to test out, remote control planes to crash and had to terrorize the dog with the RC magnum. Found some time to install the radiator cover today too:

    went on really easy.

    thumbs up

    two more thumbs up!

Gettin the springs installed tomorrow. Otta be fun. When I told the dude on the phone they'd just be installing the front one's he thought I was crazy. I think he still thinks I'm kiddin.
