    Question LX Assembly Tracking

Does anyone know how to track a vehicle being built by using the VON? I recently put in my order on a Charger SXT, and I'd like to track my baby, if possible. My dealer said something about it but wasn't sure how to do it.

    Thanks.

Your dealer can track the VON as well.
Also many Chrysler employees can do it.

How about tracking during shipping? My baby was shipped on 5/21. :D Is there a way to track the shipment? DC Customer Service told me that they can't do it. If they can't, who can?

I doubt the truck check's in each night :D

Your car should be there today, Brampton to VA shouldn't take more than 2.5 days driving. I'd do a drive-by of the dealer and see if your car is in the back or on a trailer sitting out front. I've heard of others who have seen their car on the trailer but it's taken the dealer 2 days to prep and call them.

Roger, but I was told by the DC Customer Service rep that it was shipped via train through somewhere in MI to a distribution center in Fredricksburg, VA. From there, my dealer has told me that it will take 48 hours max to get it in.

Again, this is what I've been told, so I don't know whether I can take it as gospel or not. :-?

If it's on a train they should at least be able to tell you when it moves from train to truck. (I would think, but then logic isn't always applicable)
