I'd like to add the air pressure sensors to my 05 Magnum RT that didn't have them. If I add the sensors in the wheels as well as the pick-up sensors in the wells will it work? Perhaps with Starscan.... or not at all?

First thing I think is you need new rims that support sensors.Second unless the TPMS was a option in 05,starscan wont have a program to set the TPMS.

I have 09 Challenger 20" ChromeClad and they will support the earlier style sensors, that's not the problem. The question is more about the fenderwell sensors and Starscan. Who can tell me if 05 Magnum had TPMS option? Thanks for the input though...

you need the WCM modules, the wiring, and a Cluster that supports the function, a 2006 plus FCM and 2006 plus PCM..

The cluster.. well you need to find a 2006 cluster that is off a car that had the feature, but there was a software change from 2005 to 2006, so you need to get a 2006 FCM and a 2006 PCM so the 2006 cluster will work in your 2005..

need the wiring harnesses for the WCMs at each wheel..


I looked into this when I got my SRT wheels for my 2005 300c.. after figuring out the cost of parts and what it would take to add everything, and the fact it would pretty much void my max care service contract..

I direct wired it to the re-view mirror on the power out that others use for their radar detectors and mounted it just above the mirror with some 3M tape on the windshield..
