    Jim Turner Fan Mod Price

    http://members.cox.net/jdturneriii/300C/LXFanMod.pdf

My dealer quoted $250.00 to do this mod.

Does that seem like a fair price?

no. The parts are cheap. The work isn't that hard. Just time consuming if you do it carefully. Installing 3 relays and running a couple wires to the fuse box and to the inside of the car isn't that hard. Go ask your friendly neighborhood car audio gurus if they would feel comfortable tackling that project and what price they can give you on it. Perhaps buy the parts yourself so you know exactly how much that part of the cost ran you.

I totally agree with him on this, where you live? I am sure that a memeber on the forums could also help you out on this.
So damn custom, I don't even need a sig!

Wow! I'll do it for half that price! j/k. Parts cost me about $30 or so.

Would take an hour or 2. If you were close to me, my standard fee for something like this is a sixpack (shared with the owner of course!)

Glad to see that my mod is making the rounds!

Make sure he's not gonna turn around afterward and say the warranty on your ES is now void! That's awesome though... and one of the best write-ups i've ever seen!

It's nice that they are willing to do it, but I think you could get a quality job done a heck of a lot cheaper by going to someone else.

This is a very easy mod to do and do right thanks to JimTurner!

Ah yes - Mopar SuperCenter! Getting my Long tubes installed by them next Friday! All Hendrick dealers are first class with customer service, so even if you decide to pay the $250 for it, you could always make your money back on donuts and espresso's in the waiting room!

I just asked my audio shop about this mod. They said they would do it no problem. They charge $55 per hour. Not bad.
