If you change your own transmission fluid

Just a heads up , for anyone who changes their own transmission fluid. Be very, very careful that the filter clicks up into the correct position. The last time I changed mine, I was in a hurry, distracted and remember fumbling with it, it went into place kinda, but was still kinda loose. Like an idiot, I figured it would be ok, but the other day, I pulled out to pass a car and it went into safe mode. Actually had to get it towed in and was pretty worried that I might have finally killed it. Well my mechanic, changed the fluid, put on a new filter, reset the codes and she's fine. What a relief! I think it must have sucked some air and the TCU freaked out. Thanks to everyone that answered my first post with good advice and especially Chad srt-hardware with your generous offer.
