How long does it take to fix a Charger???

Well I'll let you know when I get her back. This happend over 2 months ago. I left work early to meet the Dell repair man to fix my computer, which he couldn't do so I had to send it back to Dell. So I was waiting for DHL to come and pick up my computer when I heard a loud bang outside. I looked out my window and saw a car sidways in the middle of the street. My neighbors car was on the other side of the street and I thought his car got hit, until I saw him start walking towards my house. I knew then that my car was the one that got hit. So I go outside and my car didn't look too bad until I came around the back side and saw (see pics). The girl who hit me was ok. So I called to police.

Anyways, its been two months since that happend, an I think I should be getting my car back by next week. The repair placed has fixed everything and it just needs to be painted.

Wow!!!!!! That's a hell of a hit!!!!!!!! I hope daddy beat her but good! 2 months is insane, unless there was an insurance battle ensuing. If that was the case, they owe you for a rental car for all this time.

and 2 months isn't bad, considering that DCX has every flipping part on back order... pain in the a$$ I've been waiting on several parts for about 6 weeks myself...

I'm with SuperT on this one. Well the insurance part of it anyway. I don't believe the girl needs her daddy "to beat her good".

Did you see that charger move?!?! It parked right out infront of that poor girls driving path!! Seriously, I'm betting cell phone activity while driving....and if so, sans handsfree....she should be flogged!!

Mine took almost 2 months to get fixed too, all the parts were on back order, the biggest delays were the wheel and steering rack.

Yeah the repair place said because of how new the car is the parts aren't that available. So alot of the 2 months was waiting for the parts to show up.

Yeah her insurance is paying for the rental car, she was pretty upset about the accident. She was crying pretty bad afterwards. I had to ask her twice if she was ok because of how much crying she was doing.

Not much of an insurance battle, I thought it was kind of funny that her insurance company wasn't going to accept repsponsibilty until they heard from her, after she hit a parked car. Not hard to figure out who was at fault.

I blamed my car too. It was feeling negliected and was looking for attention, so she jumped out in front of her car. The police said couldn't tell them how it happend, but there was a small dog in her car, and the police think that the dog might have jumped in her lap and distracted her.

Not in cars...only collisions happen. 'Accidents' can't be avoided. Collisions can. If only we could remove the word 'car accident' from our vocabulary!
