How to disconnect the battery without reprogramming computer

Here is all you need to be able to disconnect your battery for replacement or other such things. I have used it several times on cars with out problems. It was $2.50 at Wal-Mart.

That may or may not work. Is the Magnum the first American car you had with a SWITCHED cigarette / power socket?

Well, if that doesn't work and anyone is concerned about the reprogramming (which given this throttle calibration thing I could see), just get a jumper battery (they are $29-59 now, and a great thing to bring along anyway, as they have AC/DC outlets for cell phone, air pump, etc., and fit handily in our little gallon holders in the rear. Anywho, just jump the cables to it before disconnecting battery for life support until new battery is in.

All you have to do is plug INTO the power out let in back or use the one inside the consol. They stay hot when ignition is off by the way. Just remember to have the lights an tune box off.
