HOORAY! Glad to see wheel studs!

From this picture I am very happy that the LX cars are using wheel studs and lug nuts instead of Mercedes, BMW and VW style lug holes & lugbolts. Lugbolts are a pain in the Azz to put on and requires a mounting pin to assist. I also think this makes it possible to use a 5x114.3 bolt pattern wheel on the 5x115 hub using special lug nuts. There are tons of 5x114.3 wheels on the market.

Wow, I never knew that about the Mercedes. I guess you learn something new everyday!

I think I'd rather lose a lugnut then a lugbolt!

To help mount a Mercedes wheel you have to use this thing to have something to hand the wheels on:

I have a Turbo Beetle and when I went to 18" Tuner wheels & 225/40 tires, I did a stud conversion. The boltz are, indeed, a pain! :D

Whoa! Wait a minute! What does the LX chassis have lug bolts or lug nuts? The 300 and Magnum accessory brochure shows lug bolts? HUH!

    Hmmmmmm.... the plot thickens.

Good question! Maybe those earlier pics we saw were with the bolts screwed in?

BMW uses lug nuts... But yeah, anything that increases availability of wheels is a good thing.
