    home made catch can

    Someone recently wrote about a home made catch can and I can't find it anywhere.
    Has anyone seen it ?

    Yeah, as the person you are talking about....I ditched that thing about a month after I built it for a Billet Tech Catch Can....works a lot better (the homemade model stopped working and I got tired of trying to fix it.)

    What was wrong with the home made model ?? Other than looks, It should have worked just fine.

    The element inside stopped letting oil drip down once it became saturated.

    catch can

    I made mine out of one of these. http://www.out2win.com/catalog/catchcan.html

    Back when we raced 4 stroke karts, you needed to use these on the Briggs and Stratten engines. Also with these, you can pretty much mount anywhere.

    I currently have the "Home Depot Catch Can" but I purchased the black Billet Tech Catch Can with my Daytona number engraved in it. Should be here any day now. I will be installing it when I put heads on my car this spring when I take the car out of winter storage.
