the hemiwagn goes in for a 10pt cage...

forgot to take a pic, but the car sorta looked like this except the hatch was off.

I found the perfect fabricator for me: He is a racer too and at one time was obessive about weight. Had a 1997 firebird that weighed 1650 lbs!
Car had a 1.04 60' I can only dream of that!
So he gets where I am at.

Going to have some other small items done too, I figure this is the time before the car goes in for paint next month.

Do you think the track will say anything to you about not having door handles?

I'm sure they will, unless you have some sort of visible door releases. Ask me how I know. Hee hee.

    Thanks for the comments folks.

Re door release, one will be added to the passenger front door as well.
And yes Jonn, thanks to your hard work, I learned that these are needed for the track.

Great to hear things are moving along Greg. I bet you can't wait for hemiwagn to get painted, and more importantly get back to the track. Thanks for the updates bud!
