    Exclamation Help!!! Stranded!!! Need Info!!!

    Long story short,
    my cooler thermostat has caused a code light, I was told by "PowerWagon896";
If you do get a TSTAT CEL pull fuse #11 for 15 seconds & replace it.

However he never mentioned if it was the FRONT or the REAR.
SO I went out and pulled the 11 in the front, and the car was running
and then it died. I put the fuse back in.

    Now, the car WON'T START.
It acts like it is a disabled key or something, the RED ALARM light is on.
To make matters worse I can't find my damned spare key.

I gotta get the car started, and it is not turning over.
The ignition comes on but NO STARTER!!!
I checked all the fuses and none of them seem to be blown.
    I need help, fast!!!!

You pulled the right fuse. It is in the front. I have never heard your situation happen before though.

The fuse #11 he is referring to is the one under the hood, but your not supposed to pull it with the car running. It disconnects the power to the computer and resets the adaptive memory.

Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 60 seconds and then hook the battery backup and see if the car restarts.

Fuse 11 under the hood is correct but as stated earlier never pull the fuse with engine running.

I had the same code about a week ago & pulled fuse 11 for about 10 seconds, started the car right up, engine light & code was all gone. Car running perfect again. Good luck getting it started.

None of the fuses are blown, I used a Fluke to test them.
I took the battery out for an hour, and nothing.
    The starter won't start.
    I need some serious help.
I need to know what to check, what to try?

anyone with a starscan near him? He may need the PCM reflashed as pulling the fuse with the engine running may have corupted the program... Bob, do a search for $0.25 fan mod, there are alot of pics of the fuse panel in those threads.

    Good luck!

According to the manual, Page 308, the number 11 fuse is "Auto Shutdown/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)"
it's the auto-shutdown part that I am noticing.
How do I UN-SHUT it down?
