    Headlight polished.

Noticed the other day that somehow my passenger headlamp got scratched. So said what the heck, as I wax the car I will use polishing compound on the lens and the ortbital buffer. Originally I used my thumbnail to see it if just was some junk splashed up, but I could feel the scratches.

Looks great. The plastic is clear coated. I wonder if you just polished the clear coat or if you polished through it. My headlights are so bad that I don't think I could do anthing to make them look worse. I've polished them a few times.

I was wondering that also. Normally when you go through clearcoar, it just "splinters" vs blending in. And it is nice and smooth where the ends were. Looks like I got lucky and polished just the clear coat.
