Has anyone dyno tunned a stock 5.7

Hi all just wondering if anyone ever dyno tuned a stock 5.7 or a 5.7 with mod's like a CAI or cat backs and a diablo predater.
I am intrested in what a well tuned 5.7 Hemi can do, if someone has done this can you post some numbers or if there is a post about this can someone give me the link.

    thanks
    Stan

I thought I read somewhere on here that there isn't much to tune until you start replacing cams. I've got an R/T with CAI, Cat back and I still run the Super Chips tuner.

    Dyno

So Cal Lx did a dyno day with a bunch of different stuff.

Stock WHP was about 280. Bumped with SC and intake and catback to about 300 RWHP.

Thats all we had to work with then. IIRC they were running lean @ about 13/1 with a intake and catback.

With 91 octane, they bumped up about 10-15 WHP.

We've come a long way baby!

Doing a custom tune with just bolt-ons probably isn't worth it. If you have longtubes you might see some gains but probably not much. The only person I can think of off hand that did a custom tune on bolt-ons was dudeiwin86 and I don't think he really gained anything over the canned tune.

getting a cmr done with a cai, catback, and 180stat, is worth it a saw an extra 10hp from mine and I dropped a tenth off my 1/4 time, just remember no 2 cars are alike, I've seen some run lean with the canned tunes and it needs to be ajusted!!! I going for my 2nd cmr this April only cause I just added a Cam to my list of mods!!!

I had mine Dyno tuned with just bolt-ons. I had Borla Cats, CAI, Diablosport and Long Tube Headers. She tested @ 316 on one and 321 on another. Not sure if this will help you. GL.

Thanks guys, it looks like these cars are almost tuned to the max of there stock parts
Some guys I know with other brands of cars (honda, subaru, ford) have pulled an extra 20 to 30 hp out by doing just a tune on there cars, I guess some car company's don't give you every thing they have if you buy a car from them not like Mother Mopar.
I love my car and will never buy anything but a LX or maybe a challenger.
