    Gotta HEMI?

While painfully waiting for my new Mag to arrive, I had a lot of fun reading all of the posts about people asking, "That thang gotta HEMI in it?".

Well, I was asked that for the very first time today. This guy who has a big a$$ Hummer H2 stopped me in the parking lot at work and says, "Does that wagon got a hemi in it?". I really had to try hard not to laugh at him. I told him, "Nope. It's a 3.5 liter V6 with 250 horses." He said, "Well, that's still pretty fast!". I replied, "Why, yes it is!"

I pointed out that it gets better fuel economy than the hemi, but I get the feeling that he didn't care much about that looking at his ride.

I know that I'll be asked that many, many more times, but I was kinda suprised that it took 6 days for someone to say it!

I havnt havnt had it happen yet, and somewhat surprised. Espically from my father-in-law. Before I even thought of getting the Magnum, he kept asking if almost every car had a Hemi in it. When I got mine, I dont think he even asked!

LOL No way! Maybe it's mostly a Southern thing. The Good Ol' Boys around here sure do like fast cars.
