    Ghost in the Shell

OK, so now I am freaking out big time. The magnum has three times stopped running right after startup, in park, at idle. One more time at a traffic light, just died. Then, today, leaving work, put the transmission in Reverse, the "R" nicely highlighted on the dash, but nothing. The car acted like it was in neutral, hit the gas, the revs bounce the tach needle, but no engagement of the transmission. I put it back in Park, killed the engine, waited a few seconds, then re-started. All was fine, but I am worried since I have a 900 mile trip to I O WA in two days and.. well, who knows when I may have to shut down a WRX or fart-can honda? Help!

might be a flash too. hard to say without experiencing it. no available flash to repair stalling issue. although i've never seen it on NAG1 trans, low, aerated fluid in 42/44/46RE trans will cause partial torque converter lock-up at idle in gear and stall the engine.

Yes, a hesitation most times at first gas in reverse, and forget about power shifting from reverse to drive, the thing fumbles around like it is looking for spare change under the frown of a meter maid. What is up with that?

Are you sure you do not mean 21-006-04A?
If not where is there a copy of this I can take it to my Dealer? As CV's list does not contain this particular one.

TSB 21-006-04A does not apply to Theweeb's RT with NAG1 trans. only applies to vehicles equipped with 42RLE trans.

The shutter going from reverse to forward is caused by the car not being completely stopped when going from reverse to forward. I was told this on a thread about a year ago and since then I make sure I have stopped completely before shifting. Haven't had the problem since.

I too have been having some "dieing" issues. The other day the car threw a code about low oil pressure as it died at a stop sign....the engine was warm not hot..hasn't happened lately, but has me concerned..

Back from a 1700 mile road trip. yes, the CEL came on again after 200 miles. the performance shop swapped O2 sensors on the passenger's side before I left, thinking that was the cause of the problem. Well sh!t...I am getting with Josh and HHP tomorrow to see what we can do. Suspect the cat is bad, there was someone else who had the same problem. During the trip I averaged only 19.4 mpg; I am used to getting 24 at highway speeds with the cruise control on. I think the CEL keeps the MDS from kicking in, anyone confirm? On the good side, the engine did not die at all, and seemed to be running strong.

I know I will work out these problems with the CEL and sometimes strange behavior. I do know that with the headers and cats this thing chews up the tires every time I stomp on it. The sound is right off of Daytona. Pitty the fool...
