    Fuel pump?

Both my fuel pumps have went out and was wondering anyone knows of a drivers side fuel pump for sale or where i can pick one up. Would an aftermarket one work for this being i have a brand new passenger side pump. I purchased a passenger side one today but no one has a drivers side one. Any info will help of greatly

I think we have one here, I will check and let you know.

Curious though...what if any mods you have/how many miles on your car? Wondering what caused the failure.

there is only one electric fuel pump. it's on the left side. the right side houses a venturi pump whose sole purpose is to transfer fuel from the right side to the left side. if you're running out of fuel below half tank, the venturi pump is not working properly. if you have EVIC, you should be able to see how much fuel is in either side of the tank. if the left side is very low or empty and the right side shows fuel, then your venturi pump is not working properly. this could be caused by the pressure regulator or a dislodged hose in the tank. it it runs fine above 1/2 tank, there's no need to replace the electric pump.

    form FSM:
The way the pump works is as follows, fuel enters the reservoir of the driver side module. The fuel pump pumps the fuel through the filter to the passenger side module through a supply line inside tank. The pressure regulator inside the passenger side module regulates the pressure at 58 psi. All unused fuel that is not sent to the engine is fed through a venturi at the bottom of the passenger side module. This creates a low pressure siphoning effect and draws fuel from the passenger side of the tank and transfers it to the drivers side tank via siphon hose inside the tank. While the vehicle is running the fuel in the passenger side of tank is continuously transferred to the drivers side. Fuel will continue to fill the drivers side tank till it reaches the bridge section and then start to spill over to the passenger side.

So what does it mean if my LT is always alot higher than my RT on the EVIC? I'm a little worried because my car has died on me several times before the gas guage warning light turns on. Is LT left tank looking at it from the front to back, in other words LT=passenger side?

Hi everyone; Trying not to hijack, but I have an 05 Mag R/T, I have personal settings in the speedo cluster, and can check klms. left of fuel, cd/radio info, why do I not have some of these other specs. that your speedo cluster shows? Different group rating? Cal

as Hemi31 said, this looks like a level sensor issue.

once fuel level dips below the driveshaft tunnel which separates the tank, the left should always have more fuel than the right unless you just made a high speed left hand turn and the fuel spilled over to the right side. this should rectify itself within a couple of minutes as the venturi pump transfers the fuel back to the left side.

Well this was from it being towed on the trailor back so it could be how the fuel was being tossed around when on the trailer. How could I get a proper reading of how it should be being the car is just sitting now.
