Unhappy Factory Remote Start Just Quit Working -> Help...

I had to jump-start my superbee one day because some gauges had drained my battery completely!
Since then my remote start will not work.
I tried it with both keys, and it just won't fire up, the lights flash, but nothing else happens.
Can anyone help, is there a learn proceedure I need to go through or something?

TIA, any help will be appreciated!

Since this is an 08 with the FOBIK's, is it the factory system with the button on the FOBIK??? Do you have the hood closed??? Do you here a single horn chirp when attempting to remote start??? I'd say take it to the dealer. They can use the StarMobile/WiTech scanner to see what's inhibiting the start.

yeah, it's on the FOB, factory installed.

Everything is closed up and locked when I try it.
No chirp, just a quick flash of the running lights is all I get

I just hate leaving my car with anyone , but sometimes it's the only option. Thanks for your reply Tbird100636...

Sorry there's no additonal help or advice here. But, let us know how it turns out with the dealer and the fix. I'm sure I hate taking my car to the dealer as much as you. Sometimes I'll just wait there for the fix, even if it's for hours. Good luck...

    I have to ask this:

When locking your car with the 2008 Factory FOB and if the hood is open, shouldn't the alarm sound off??
I have a suspicion my hood switch is bad and keeping my remote start from working...

Anyone here who can elaborate on this?

    Thanks...

Go to the dealer. As I recall, there's a TSB on this problem.

Well I finally got the R/S fixed up, it took me this long to give in to letting someone else have the car.
    I waited both days!
All winter without it and part of last winter was a good nudge towards my decision to get it fixed.
It was the TIPM. Maybe it's a little to totally integrated.
Anyway, the tech had a time of it.
It took him over two hours to find the problem, then I was then sent home due to no part.
The next day it took about an hour of his time to get it going.
It works like a charm now.
I wanted to post the fix as requested.
