    Esp Mod?

What's the diff between this $50 ESP mod I have been hearing about, and disabling with Predator?

I believe if you disable ESP with the Predator you loose the ABS system.

The $50 "NoESP" mod uses a relay when you hold the ESP button for a few seconds to kill power to the yaw sensor located below the center consolte. The results in ABS still working, but the ESP function being disabled. (or so that's what I understand anyway)

You can do the same with a simple toggle switch if you know which wire to splice the switch into (search the forum, there are photos and diagrams). I have done this and it does disable ESP, but I have no idea if it disables the ABS. I'm assuming not, but I haven't really tested it either.

Once you disable ESP with the switch or NoESP mod, you have to restart the car for it to re-engage.

I like this one the best, makes it almost as fast as the SRT's. Well maybe not as fast...

I went the "cut the wire / switch" route myself. Saved a few dollars.

It does turn off only the ESP function, but to turn it back on - you have to turn the engine off and restart the car.

Put my switch in the console box.

Just do a search for it, I think it was RTJunkie that did the write up with photos..................

I had some photos when I did mine, but I deleted them.

Hardest part is removing the console.
