    Esp

I noticed driving out in the snow today, that if you have the ESP on and turn the car off, you have to press it on again...... just like your rear window defroster. Oh well... can't say I notice any difference whether it's on or off anyways.

I'm pretty impressed with my ESP in the snow. I tried to do a few donuts with the Mag in the empty parking lot of the McDonalds in the plaza up at the intersection of Union street and route 531... and ESP wasn't havin' it.

Haven't tried turning ESP off though and doing it... a car pulled into lot and I decided that I should probably stop fooling around.

Might take it up to Hamlin Beach into one of the parking lots. They're huge, totally empty this time of year, and should make for some good fun.

Other way around - Default is ON when you start the car - you press the button to turn it OFF.

I admit that initially confused me as well when I got mine. Finally figured out which was which by looking in the manual where it stated that upon starting the car, ESP was on by default.

Not too confusing though. It's on by default, just like every other car I've owned that had it.

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?

You will notice that the same indicator light will flash on and off when "something" is going on with ESP when it is in the ON position.

Right, that's why I always thought it made so much sense. When you lose traction the light comes on. When you turn it off enabling an unsafe condition, the light comes on.
