Error Codes - Help!!!

Tonight I tuned on my car ('05 Magnum RT) and dash lights started lighting up, CEL, BRAKE, ABS and BAS. I put it in DRIVE and go froward and it won't shift, so I check for error codes, oh boy...

P0196 - Eng Oil Temp Sens Range/Perf
V0121 - Lost Comm with anti-brake system ctrl mod
V0103 - Lost Comm with gear shift mod
V0001 - High speed can comm bus
C2200 - Anti-lock brake mod
V1120 - ???

What do all of these mean? Is is safe to drive to the dealer in the morning?

All fluids are within range and the car runs fine I just can't go over 40ish, Oh, the speedometer also quit working at the same time. Sunday I went to LA, about 65 miles each way, with no traffic (it happens) and the MDS didn't kick in even once.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey there Brett! Have you tried driving it since you reverted to the stock settings, just to make sure the problems weren't caused by the flashpaq?

Edit: It does shift gears now, right? Or is it still in limp mode?

P0196 will cause MDS to not work. the other symptoms most likely caused by U0001. once CAN-C bus communication goes down, PCM, TCM and ABS will all be affected.
should be OK to drive slowly to your dealer.

Ozzie, I could never use the trans setting on my flashpaq because of the early build date (04-04) and the TCM not being able to be read by the SC unit.

I dropped it off at the dealer this morning. They THINK it's electrical, these guys are good , 6 error codes and most state comm issues.

If it is the control unit they were talking 3 to 4 days to fix...

You chose to keep the SC even without trans adjustibility? How did that go for you? I too am one of the early builds affected and couldn't use the trans functions and never able to convince a dealer to flash the TCM. Recently I've been thinking though....would it have been worth it to just keep it and use the functions I could. I did drop in a JET2 but I'm not sure it did all that much for me.

I think the SC tuner has been OK so far. I've been running the 91 tune since the tuner came out without issues. I would love to have the trans options though with an updated TCM, so far no luck.

I was able to up the speed limiter and have tested it, it works.......it doesn't top out at 126 any more.....

I just got the call from the dealer. They couldn't find anything wrong with the car, so they cleared all of the error codes, reset the computers and drove it 30+ miles and no codes returned.
I guess I'll see what happens after I pick it up tonight....They are also putting in a new Nav unit due to the joystick being dead in mine....

Hey, missed this one. That sucks bud. Since you went through all the trouble of getting your ride to them..............maybe they could be nice guys and flash your tranny for ya????. Hope everything keeps on working and it was just some fluke occurrance.
