Can't say this breaks my heart. Think about this... this probably means the RT is getting the same 5.7 today's RT has. This will do nothing but drive the aftermarket for these engines harder than ever... and presumably should get the attention of some of the major tuning players...

According to Resume Speed ( a pretty reliable source IMO) there won't be a 5.7L until 2009... and then it will be the next gen version( variable cam timing, enhanced MDS etc.etc.) the curious thing is the auto... all info pertaining to the Challenger circulating through Chrysler had only the 6.1L and the 6-speed manual as the only powertrain combo...obviously, this has changed....

Nah. This is legit. Backed by MissionFish and Dodge has done/is doing a huge press release regarding these auctions; there will be 3 in total. They've worked out a special agreement with eBay, and all the money goes to charity. Pretty cool actually.
