A way to check front sway bar bushings on RWD LXes is to unbolt the sway bar with the links still attached. Grab the bushing. If the bushings are closed completely shut but don't fit the bar tightly (you can move the bushings back and forth noticeably against the bar) then you need sway bar bushings. They should fit the bar tightly and be hard to close. You can also check the links for looseness with the bar partially hanging. I just did a set of tension struts this week on a customer's car. These were really bad, tons of up and down play on the ball joint end, bushings on the other end were spliting. Caused a high pitched metal-to-metal sound over bumps and when applying the brake. The same car also had bad sway bar bushings causing more of a low pitched knocking.

it has many meanings. girls have two bumps on thier chest.

There are speed bumps on the road.

but in this case it describes posting in a thread simply for the purpose of moving it to the top of the list so more people will read it. Some people would add another post while others are more clear with their invention and simple state that they are bumping their thread to the top of the list. "bump"

I would check your swaybar endlinks. They may not be tight enough.

From past experience in the shop, I'd replace the Swaybar End links and sthe stabilizer bar cushions. Usually if the torsion struts are torn up, it will cause erratic steering wheel hop when you hit bumps in the road.
