It makes all the sense in the world to tint your front windsheild...looks great...but a pretty dumb mod IMO. Hopefully you dont hit someone cuz you couldnt see them.

Unless you have a doctor's note declaring you have an eye condition to being overly light sensitive.

One thing I've seen, windshields tend to crack when you park them in the sun after you tint them. They have too much of a compund curve and the tint expands/contracts at a different rate than the glass.

Knock on wood, I've had it for 6 months with no issues. Visibility is better at night in the sense that it cuts down on glare and allows you to still see the road when oncoming headlights would blind you without the tint. At first it was a little difficult at night but now its not a problem at all. I'm sure that other people with tinted windshields will corroborate this.

I wish they would allow a lightly tinted front windshield to be legal. I think a 50-70% would be good. Oh well.

You should take a picture from the inside looking out at night... or at day... or both.

I could see it reducing glare, but no way will I believe it makes visability better. Its already hard enough to see things at night, putting a film over the window isnt going to make already hard objects to see any easier to spot. Its a great looking mod, dont get me wrong...I just dont feel its safe. If you want to reduce glare at night, look at the opposite side of the road as opposed to the headlights of the oncoming car...

gonna be in a world of suck if you are ever in an accident that shatters that windshield.

windshield is designed to breakaway, with tint it will break in to shards that can slice you pretty bad..

looks cool though.. I wish there was a system that would darken the windows when parked and undarken when driving, the whole point of tint for me is to keep the looky loos from looking inside my car.
