I am the worst person to give advice on this, I lost my licence last year for 30 days for a 100 in a 65. But get a good lawyer, next mod should be the best radar detector that you can afford. Even a radar detector will only save your arse most of the time, I got bagged by an airplane! Try not to go over 9 mph over the limit, I know its not easy with the hemi, but cruise control where you can use it!

Firm believer in the lawyers, they saved me twice now. Ask around for a good one though. My problem is Florida will give me points, even if other states don't when citied for moving violations.

it's up to you to monitor your speed. you don't want us to tell you to slow down, so if you choose to engage in a pattern of behaviour that results in negative consequences...don't whine about the negative consequences. my rebellious period ended with a $350 ticket and the threat of going to jail if i showed back up in traffic court. lots of tickets before... none since!!!
i still have funand no i don't always stay within the speed limit, but the most i'll go is
7-8mph
over . but seriously, if i get a ticket, i earned every dollar of the fine... because i knew better when i started speeding... don't do the crime if ya can't handle the time/fine!!

Sorry to hear about your ticket. I'm not a fan of cops nit-picking the speed limit on an open highway. But, in a residential area, I'm all for strict speed control. I live on a 25 mph street, and it irritates me to see people speeding down the road. Too much stuff can happen on residential streets... kids, pets, people backing out of driveways, etc.
I hope you can get your ticket resolved without too much hassle. But, please watch your speed around town. Keep the lead foot for the open highway (or even better, the race track)!![]()

i know...normally i dont speed in those areas just because of those same reasons...:|...i dunno what happened...the construction, me tired from work, maze of small freaking roads all over the place and me chasing my own tail...so yeah...stupid luck i guess...in those areas i normally roll in style...music playing...looking at stuff...not speeding....thats y I'm pissed off...:|:/![]()
