    Decisions...Tire Brand and Size

I just sold my RSA tires and now I have none. So I have contemplated either a 275/35-20 or 255/35-20 for all four...no staggered look...I guess. The tires that I have been looking at are:
    1. BF Goodrich KDWS
    2. Nitto EVO
    3. Goodyear GS D3
    4. Yokohama AVS
    5. Toyo Proxes 4
    6. Dunlop ?????
    7. Bridgestone RE0 ????? (Tire Rack rated these their best).

Any others? I am looking for the best dry weather tire without buying a competition shaved or road corse tire. Michelin and Pirelli's are a rip-off...to much money, so they are out. Most of these above listed tires come in the two sizes that I am looking for. The Toyo's come in a 275/40-20. Supposedly the Nitto's are about to come out in a 275/40-20 real soon. My thinking is that as far as handling is considered, that the 35 series sidewall (aspect ratio) will result in less tire deflection which equals better handling. I know that my speedometer will be off but I can't think of any other adverse effects. I did also see some 265/35-20 tires...the list goes on. At this point I am so confused that I can't make a decision. Maybe someone can give me some opinions, suggestions or answers from their own experience.

If you go 275 go with 275/40/20 they will be closer to stock speedo calibration. I use Hankook Ventus and they feel good. I love the twisties and they stick well.

    Thumbs up Toyo's

I am running the Toyo Proxes 4's (255/45/20's all around) and Moose is running the Toyo Proxes 4's (275/40/20's all around) and we both LOVE these tires. No fitment or rubbing issues. They look great, ride great, have great grip and they are cheaper than F1's.

    I highly recommend them.

    More Decisions

I just read the Car and Driver link and some of those tires don't come in 20", some are a little to tall (Goodyear GS D3 at 275/45). At this point I am still confused. BF Goodrich KDW 2's look pretty good and unique looking...265/35-20..I am leaning towards them so far but not yet convinced. The Toyo Proxes 4...275/40-20 seem to be a favorite. Too bad the Goodyear GSD3's don't come in a good size since they seem to be the best tire around, especially since "Meister" uses them. The Goodyear F1's might be a consideration at this point. How do all of these choices compare against my old RSA's that I got rid of??? Any other suggestions ????? Oh well decisions, decisions, decisions.

I got a tirerack brochure in the mail this week that claims the GY GS D3 comes in 275/40/20 now. I didnt call and the website only shows a 275/45/20.
Anyone else see this? This is a great tire.

It's a truck tire. I prefer a car tire. Although I am sure that it works well.

Sorry for making this worse but when I burn off these Goodyear F1 Supercar, tires I am going with:

    Nitto Invo 255 45R20

The Toyo Proxes is a good choice as well. And well tested by moose & DanRealtor!

Stay away from the Goodyear F1 Supercar tires. They are inferior to BF Goodrich KDW's, Nitto Invo's & Toyo Proxes. Any of those would be a much better choice.

Your old Toyo what? The Proxes R/T's are a light truck tire, the Proxes 4's are a car tire.
