I just sold my RSA tires and now I have none. So I have contemplated either a 275/35-20 or 255/35-20 for all four...no staggered look...I guess. The tires that I have been looking at are:
1. BF Goodrich KDWS
2. Nitto EVO
3. Goodyear GS D3
4. Yokohama AVS
5. Toyo Proxes 4
6. Dunlop ?????
7. Bridgestone RE0 ????? (Tire Rack rated these their best).
Any others? I am looking for the best dry weather tire without buying a competition shaved or road corse tire. Michelin and Pirelli's are a rip-off...to much money, so they are out. Most of these above listed tires come in the two sizes that I am looking for. The Toyo's come in a 275/40-20. Supposedly the Nitto's are about to come out in a 275/40-20 real soon. My thinking is that as far as handling is considered, that the 35 series sidewall (aspect ratio) will result in less tire deflection which equals better handling. I know that my speedometer will be off but I can't think of any other adverse effects. I did also see some 265/35-20 tires...the list goes on. At this point I am so confused that I can't make a decision. Maybe someone can give me some opinions, suggestions or answers from their own experience.
