I'm not surprised about the Navigation screen. 5 dead pixels or 3 dead pixels in a cluster seems to be the norm across the industry. At least I haven't heard of cases where replacements were provided unless they had 3 or 5 dead pixels.

As for the Navigation DVD I can't say...is it really that big of a deal? Are you missing critical map updates for areas you regularly travel or plan to visit?

I'm sure someone in your area has an AC version of the disc and I can't imagine it being to hard to copy. All I can suggest otherwise is try a different dealer.

I think I read/heard that there weren't any content differences between the AB & AC DVDs, just a couple of minor bug fixes. Mine came with the AB disc, and it was made in September.

As for the pixel issue, if it bothers you that much, then I'm sure that a few other pixels could be induced to suffer sudden failures.

Of course, as an ethical and law-abiding citizen I have no idea how this could be done, and certainly would never tell anyone to try 'googling' the problem/solution.
