Damage Pics - Lil Advice Needed (Anti-56k)

Ok, so here are the pics from all of my damage. The back end I am trying to get in the shop next week. Right now its just surface rust, but Im not gonna let it sit and give it the opportunity to get worse. As for the front, Im actually considering trying to pop the dent out myself. There are no creases and I think I might be able to get away with it...and if so it would be a helluva lot cheaper than the alternative. All of the scrape marks are on the surface only, so Im gonna try to buff them out and see where that gets me. It doesnt have to be perfect, this is far from a show car and down the road I can prolly have it repainted if I desire. Id rather wait till its time for my 2 tone paint job than waste money on it now. What do you guys think?

    and the back...

I've had worse damage banged out in worse places than that fender.. Worth a shot if you don't care about perfection.

    Man you're fast! lol

The way I see it, I live in Chicago...near downtown where its pretty packed and theres a decent chance with parking on the road someone is gonna hit it again. Im thinking make it decent now, then when I move and have a garage and a beater I can focus on getting here in pristine condition. Am I loco or thinkin along the right path?

I'd replace the fender, they are too cheap to jack with that, or see if P.A.P. has one in your color, that might cost you more than a new fender, but might not require paint if you aren't particular about a perfect match.

I've seen some Downtown LX's and I know what you mean.. I don't think you're in the wrong, specially if you can make it look 'ok'...... Definitely do something about that rear section though, before it gets too bad.

Yea, I looked at Clevland P.A.P., they have a black one...but its for the passenger side! doh! Most the ones around here say they dont have any Mags at all and the one that does it was a rollover, so big negative. I might just do the best I can for now and keep an eye out for one. Ideally that would be the best case for me.

Yea...I hate even owning a car down here. Hopefully in another year I can afford to get my own place out in the burbs or possibly back down to NC in the country...hah The back is most definitely a priority. I get sick just looking at the surface rust so by Tues-Wed. I plan to have it in the shop.

they're not bad actually. definitely more than new fenders, but you'd be doing a mod at the same time
maybe you should apply some type of rust treatment/inhibitor to that rear dent to buy you some time.

I was plannin on sanding down that spot actually and just hittin it with some primer. Its all gotta get repainted and worked anyways.
